Melting snow!!!

While the temperatures still drop below zero at night, the days are warming up enough to melt the mountains of snow we have here.
Spring is on it's way YAY!

I know Spring....

is coming ...The sun melted a little bit of snow from the roof today! With only about 5 to 6 feet to go, we "might" see the grass again.
I'm not expecting that until late April.

Never in my life...

Have I witnessed such cold temperatures..
Yesterday morning we woke up to -36 C that's 32.8 f brr.
This morning temperatures were at a cool -37.2 c that's -34.96 f

The cold cuts your face like a knife when you walk out in it. Your body actually aches and you want to cry..Maybe that's just me..LOL

Remind me this summer when the temperatures here in Sweden reach a balmy 65-75 F that I wish for warmer days..LOL.

Rejoicing in God's gifts!

I thank you lord for giving me such a wonderful family and friends. For sending people in my life that inspire me to be a better person.For giving me peace,love, hope,trust and belief.

I've witnessed this week how ugly a persons soul can be when they have no love and feel they need to tear people down to build themselves up. It's so sad to see a person whose heart and soul is so twisted they can not accept or respect a person who has different ideas,hopes or dreams. What a sad,miserable life!!! Never realizing how much better life could be without all the bitterness and hate.

Twilight...

No, not the movie.(although I do love that movie)
That's the best word to describe how I am feeling.

While my body aches and my head pounds I see things around me that need my attention I'm still at the point where I have to ignore them.So for me "the knowing" means I am on the road to recovery.

When you're sick...

You can really tell who cares about you.They call or at least send an email..Thanks ,Dollbaby for the endless"how ya feeling now? "phone calls! I appreciate and love you very much!

My wonderful husband has not only taken excellent care of me and E all week.He has managed to keep the house clean and the laundry basket empty on top of all his work.He has picked E up from school and even managed to take her to the movies.
Not only have I been a very demanding sick person this week, I have managed to stick to my new diet. Me on a diet would be bad enough but add the worst cold/flu/whateverthehellthisis I've had in years, into the mix and it takes a very patient loving person to deal with what this man has had to deal with all week. LOL! I feel very blessed and love him very much.

What's going on here?
